Our 18kt Gold Mushin Ring with thirteen precisely set diamonds embodies this elusive state of perfect attention.
The thin gold band appears delicate at first glance, yet reveals its surprising strength when worn - much like the paradox of emptying the mind to achieve its fullest potential. Each of the thirteen diamonds is deliberately placed along the textured gold surface, creating a rhythm that guides the eye around the circle without beginning or end, like the continuous nature of breath in meditation.
Why thirteen stones? In Japanese spiritual numerology, this number represents transformation and rebirth. Each diamond catches the light differently as you move, reminding you that perspective shifts everything, that change is constant, and that beauty emerges most powerfully in moments of transition.
The textured surface of the gold bears subtle irregularities - evidence of human hands and mindful craftsmanship. These marks honor shūhari, the Japanese concept of learning that my Grandfather taught me: first follow tradition, then break from it, and finally transcend it entirely.

When you decide to store your pieces, keep them dust free & prevent tarnishing by wrapping them in a soft cloth & storing in an air tight bag.
A Polishing cloth or mild cleaner are best to brighten and restore your sterling or bronze jewelry. See ours here.
Note: The oxidation process used to darken jewelry gives depth and character, but over time this will wear off. Cleaners will also remove this process. Reapplication of this process can be easily done at home. See our Jewelry Care Kit.
Semi-precious stones are best cleaned with a damp cloth. Gently pat dry using a soft-cloth and make sure your jewelry is completely dry before wearing or storing again. Always avoid solvents, any harsh chemicals, or any abrasive materials.

The Talisman Collection started at a time in my life that Iwas facing significant life changes & I needed something to help me feel grounded.
